Tow Matters

For long-haul drivers transporting property, how many hours can they drive in a day?

In the USA, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has a strict set of rules about work hours and breaks. Employees can only drive between 11 to 14 hours in a day, and that’s only after having at least 10 consecutive hours off duty. There are some exceptions to extend this limit during adverse weather conditions. See all the rules here: https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/regulations/hours-service/summary-hours-service-regulations
